About me

I'm a first-year PhD student at the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Cambridge, affiliated with Robinson College. I can normally be found bashing my head against the nearest wall trying to understand the high-redshift Universe, reading Sci-fi novels, rowing on the River Cam or training a neural network to do something silly.

Research Interests

  • Radio cosmology

Instrument design and cosmology with the neutral hydrogen 21-cm line.

  • Metal-poor stars

Population II and III X-ray binaries, metallicity of the intergalactic medium.

  • High-redshift galaxies

High-redshift galaxy formation, Little Red Dots and reionisation.

Teaching

Notes and practice problems for some of the Undergraduate courses I've taken and/or supervised.
